What's In My Purse

My friend Petula tagged me with this and I couldn't resist. I have to say that I'm not embarrassed to reveal the contents of my purse. I know there are a lot of other women like me who tend to "throw" things in their purse. I consider my purse to be a catch all or basket for...whatever.Here are the rules: Find a safe quiet place free of significant others, nosey meme makers, priests, nuns, all things religious and men in general. (If you're a guy just reverse this process to male and tell us about your wallet, tool box, briefcase or metro sexual accessory.)

1. Dump the contents of your handbag in a pile.
2. Take a photo of your handbag and the contents.
3. Be brave and 'splain to your fellow bloggers what lurks inside the handbag.
4. Tag others who might want to embarrass themselves
5. Answer the questions below.

Describe the contents of your handbag.

When first looking at my bag, you would think it belonged to a hobo. It's out of shape and a bit flimsy. Believe me when I say, it was a stiffer shape than what you see above. I haven't changed purses in months 'cause this one seems to carry everything I need...even the kitchen sink. In my purse I have my monstrous sized wallet, keys for home & work, work ID badge, PDA, spare pair of socks for the Princess, frequent gambler club card, many many papers, items for dental care on the go and many other items (too many to name here :D).

What's the most important thing in your handbag?

The most important thing in my purse are the keys and wallet. Without each of them I'm totally lost.

What's the most embarrassing thing in your handbag?

There's nothing in my purse that I would consider to be embarrassing.

What's the smallest thing in your handbag?

Besides coins, tiny lint balls. Don't ask me how they got there 'cause I have no idea.

Is there anything illegal in your handbag?

No.

You have a lot of stuff in that bag. Wow. Does it give you a backache carrying it?

My mom once called me from the hospital--she was having an emergency surgery to remove her gall bladder. They took her in and a nurse handed me this 50lb bag that my mom refers to as her "purse". I had to lug that beast around all day! I cursed her at every opportunity. The razzing continued at her bedside reminding her of the Toy Story scene when Mrs. Potato Head is stuffing junk in the Mr.'s back end--"and here's some monkey chow, and your angry eyes....." Be kind--don't overstuff your handbag for you never know who will have to carry it!!

Yea, I understand having so much in there... I try to clean mine out once every other week. I just got a cute new red wallet, which I am so proud of. :D

Lin is so funny! I can just picture her walking around caring that bag and fussing!
